Miraslan Aghayev was born in the village of Tikeband, Lerik.
He studied at the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts (1987-1992).
In 1975, he started working as a stage machinist at the Lankaran State Drama Theater. He joined the troupe in 1979. He created interesting characters on the stage of the theater.
