Natavan Mammadova (Natavan Mehbaliyeva) was born in Baku.
She received a master's degree in Architecture from the Faculty of Architecture of the Azerbaijan State University of Civil Engineering.
She made her film debut at the age of 17. She is a bronze medalist of the Azerbaijan Kung Fu Championship (1990). She specialized in kinesiology therapy.
Since 1997 she has lived in Netanya, Israel.
