Nijat Feyzullayev (Nijat Latifoghlu) was born in Baku as the son of artists Latif Feyzullayev and Vajiha Samadova. He studied at the Azerbaijan Polytechnic Institute (1964-1969) and the Leningrad State Institute of Theater, Music and Cinematography (1973-1979).

He worked at the “Azerbaijanfilm” film studio since the 1970s.

Nijat Feyzullayev died in 2015.

Director Nijat Feyzullayev is the father of screenwriter Agshin Mirfeyzullazade.
