Nijat Bekirzadeh was born in Baku.
He studied at the Directing Department of the All-Union State Institute of Cinematography (1973).
He directed a number of feature and documentary films at the “Azerbaijanfilm” film studio.
He is an Honored Artist.
He currently lives in Israel.
Director Nijat Bekirzadeh is the brother of director Teymur Bekirzadeh.
