Nijat Mammadov was born in Aghdam.
He studied International Relations at the Faculty of Culturology of the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art (2007-2011).
He worked as an editor, producer, and project manager of programs covering social, socio-political, and cultural fields at ELTV and ARB Aran Television. He was the General Coordinator of the ARB Aranfilm Creative Center (2016-2020) and the General Coordinator of ELTV. The films he worked on have won awards at local and international festivals.
He currently works at ARB24 TV.
