Nina Mustafayeva (Nina Pozina) was born in Baku.
She began her career in 1926, and worked in various positions in departments and organizations, including the head of the Department of Art Works (1936-1938), the head of the Department of Arts, assistant director at the Baku Film Studio (1938-1942), a technician at the Baku Film Distribution Department (1942-1944), and a director at the Baku Film Studio (1944-1974).
Nina Mustafayeva died in 1984.
Director Nina Mustafayeva was the wife of cameraman and director Mirza Mustafayev.
