Ofeliya Sanani

Ofeliya Sanani was born in Baku.

She studied at the Philology Faculty of Azerbaijan State University (1966).

While in the 10th grade, she began working as an intern announcer at the Republic Radio. She sang the lead roles in radio plays (1959-1975). In 1975, she began working as an announcer on television and was awarded the title of highest-ranking announcer in 1978. At the same time, she worked in the dubbing department of the “Azerbaijanfilm” film studio (1960-1990).
