Ramil Mammadov was born in Baku.

He studied at the Faculty of Theater and Film Actor of the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art (2009).

In 2010, he worked as an actor at the Yerevan State Azerbaijan Drama Theater. Since 2013, he has been an actor at the Azerbaijan State Theater for Young Spectators.

He was awarded the “Sima” award in the nomination “The Most Promising Actor of the Season” (2016).
