Rana Aliyeva (Rana Fatullayeva) was born in Baku.
She studied piano at the music school and the Cultural and Educational Faculty of the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts (1977-1982).
Since 1981, she has worked as a makeup artist at the “Azerbaijanfilm” film studio. She has worked as a makeup artist in more than 40 plots of the “Mozalan” film magazine, as well as an actress in episodic roles.
She was a makeup artist for the films “Melaika Gun” (1992, director Bahruz Afghami / Iran), “Yas Arafesi” (2001, director Philip Bayon / Poland, France), “Lost Share” (2007, director Hasan Najafi / Iran) by foreign film producers.
She participated in the filming of music videos and commercials.
