Rauf Suleyman

Rauf Suleyman (Rauf Mirzayev) was born in Baku.

He studied at the Theater Studies Faculty of the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts.

In 1968, he started working as a microphone operator on Azerbaijani television. He passed all the director category levels and continued his work as a higher-level director in 1997. He produced programs such as “Idrak”, “Zeriflik”, “Eureka”, “Talaba dunyas”, “Dunya sevinc gerek”, “Yeddi sual, yeddi qabab”, “Ev sizin, sirr bizim”, “Gurama”, “Ilham perisi”. He has been living in Canada for some time.

Director Rauf Suleyman is the son of director, actor Hasanagha Mirzayev and actress Ataya Aliyeva.

Director Rauf Suleyman is the brother of director Ramiz Hasanoghlu.
