Rza Darabli (Rza Huseynov / Rza Darablinski) was born in Baku.
He studied at the madrasah, the Turkish-Russian school, and the Central Theater Art College in Moscow (1925-1928).
Since 1911, he played episodic, silent roles in the troupe of the “Nijat” cultural and educational society, and three years later he regularly participated in theater performances. He played roles in drama, tragedy, comedy, opera and operetta performances in the troupes of “Nijat”, “Safa”, “Zulfugar bey and Uzeyir bey Hajibeyov brothers’ management”. Since 1929, he has worked at the Drama Theater. He directed the Baku Turkish Workers’ Theater. He became famous as a performer of comic roles. He is considered one of the first parodist actors of Azerbaijan.
He taught at the Baku Theater School.
