Sabina Huseynli was born in Baku.
She studied Political Science at the Baku Institute of Social Management and Political Science (1994-1998) and at the Rustam Ibrahimbeyov Film School.
She began publishing in the magazine "Literary Azerbaijan" in 2005.
She was awarded the Humay National Prize for the film "Back to the Qibla" (2010).
Screenwriter Sabina Huseynli was the wife of announcer Rafig Huseynli.
Screenwriter Sabina Huseynli is the mother of presenter and actress Leyli Huseynli.
