Sadagat Maarif (Sadagat Mammadova) was born in Baku.

She studied at the Directing Faculty of the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts (1982).

She began her creative activity as a director at the Mardakan People's Theater. She was the host and director of the first culinary program on Azerbaijan State Television (1992). Since 2002, she has been working as a teacher of acting at the Republican Art Gymnasium under the Azerbaijan National Conservatory.

Actress Sadagat Maarif was the wife of director Maarif Mammadov.
