Samira Asgarova was born in Baku.

She studied at Azerbaijan Technical University, the Locarno Film Industry Academy in Switzerland, and the Berlinale Talents program in Germany.

Since 2014, she has been interpreting on film sets, translating scripts and subtitles. She is engaged in teaching English, German, and Russian.
