Sarvar Aliyev

Sarvar Aliyev was born in the village of Sadarak, Sadarak region.
He studied at the Ordubad boarding school, the Faculty of Drama and Film Acting of the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts (1982-1988, Nasir Sadigzade's course).
During his school years, he actively performed in the drama club. In addition to working in private theaters operating in Baku (Meydan Theater) from 1988 to 1992, he participated in the battles for Sadarak. Since 1993, he has worked as an actor at the Azerbaijan State Youth Theater, and since 2009 at the Azerbaijan State Theater for Young Spectators. He staged a play at the Meydan Theater. He was the chief director of the Agdam State Drama Theater (2014-2017). Since 2017, he has been the chief director of the Yerevan State Azerbaijan Drama Theater. He also works as a director at the Mingachevir Drama Theater.
He is an Honored Artist (2015).
