Sevda Hasanova was born in Mingachevir.

She studied at Shusha Cultural and Educational Technical School (1988), Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art (1993), and the Faculty of International Law of Baku State University.

In 1994-2006, she worked in various positions at ANS-ÇM Radio and ANS TV. He worked as a special reviewer in the magazine "Hesabat" (2006), editor of the Azerbaijan section of the internet portal www.anspress.com (2007), president of the ANS-Press Publishing House (2007-2009), host of the "Daha Toruş" program on ANS TV (2008-2009), general director of the ANS-ÇM Broadcasting and Media Company (2009), general director of the ANS Independent Broadcasting and Media Company (2011-2012), head of the Program Department of ANS TV (2012), head of the Information Technologies Department of ANS TV (2014), and first deputy general director of ANS TV (2015).
