Seyidshah Mammadov was born in the village of Ikinci Nugadi, Guba region.
He studied at the Faculty of Drama and Film Acting of the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art (1994).
Since 1991, he has been an actor of the Baku Chamber Theater, and since 2009, of the Azerbaijan State Theater of Young Spectators.
He is an Honored Artist (2002).
