Shahzadeh Babayeva

Shahzadeh Babayeva was born in Baku.

She studied at the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts (1976-1981).

During her student years, she played the roles of mother in the play “Mother’s Book” (Jalil Mammadguluzade), Shirin and Maryam in the play “Khosrov and Shirin” (Samad Vurgun), and Rita in the play “Cylinder” (Eduard Defi). She was assigned to the Sheki State Drama Theater named after Sabit Rahman (1981). She worked at the Youth Theater (1984-1992). Since 1993, she has linked her fate with the Baku Municipal Theater.

She is an Honored Artist (2002).

Actress Shahzadeh Babayeva was the wife of actor and director Huseynagha Atakishiyev.
