Vugar Islamzadeh was born in Moscow.
He studied at the Azerbaijan State University of Economics and the University of Sydney in Australia.
He completed internships in Germany and the USA. He worked at Buta Film, Baku Media Center and Cinemazadeh studio.
His videos have won awards at various international competitions.
The film “Officer’s Honor” was awarded the “Golden Fairy” Award in the nomination “Best Short Feature Film” (2015).
