PREMIERE OF THE FILM “THE ABODE OF PARADISE” HELD

The local premiere of the documentary-musical-ethnographic film "Abode of Paradise" (Cənnətin iqamətgahı)—which reflects the ancient history, rich cultural heritage, and unique ethnographic characteristics of the city of Ordubad—has taken place. The presentation ceremony, held at the Ordubad City Palace of Culture, was attended by representatives from the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Ordubad District Executive Power, and the "Azernyumedia" company, as well as cultural figures, the creative team, and members of the local community.
Speakers at the event—including Nurlan Hajiyev, Head of the Ordubad District Executive Power; Mir Shahin Aghayev, Honored Journalist, Director of the Real Analysis Information Center, and the film's media consultant; Vugar Rahimzade, Member of the National Assembly (Milli Majlis); and Jamil Guliyev, Director of the State Film Fund and Honored Art Worker—discussed the significance of the film and the role such projects play in promoting Ordubad’s national cultural heritage.
The speeches emphasized that Ordubad’s historical and cultural heritage, its ancient urban atmosphere, and the region's distinctive customs and traditions served as key sources of inspiration for the creation of the film "Abode of Paradise." It was noted that the film was shot in the ancient streets of the city of Ordubad, as well as in various villages across the district. The project was carried out with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in partnership with the ICESCO Baku Regional Office, and with the Real Analysis Information Center serving as the media partner.
A video message from Dr. Abdul Hakeem Farhad Al-Sena, Head of the ICESCO Baku Regional Office, was also shown at the event. Subsequently, Kamran Gasimov—the screenwriter, director, and producer of the documentary-musical-ethnographic film "Abode of Paradise" (Cənnətin iqamətgahı), as well as the Head of the Program Department at the Real Analysis Information Center, Director of "Azernyumedia," and a member of the European Film Academy—delivered a speech. He spoke about the film's production process and the primary objectives set before the creative team.
Following the speeches, the film's creative team was introduced, and the full version of the film was screened for the audience.
