Nakhokh (2016)
Raftar, who is living a happy life with his wife Emiliya, is preparing to become a father. When Emiliya goes into labor one morning, he takes her to the hospital and then sets out to find the money to cover the medical expenses. He decides to first turn to his close friend Qahraman—someone he hasn't seen in years. Since his time with Nushaba, Qahraman has been living like a recluse, having renounced the world for the sake of that love. Thus, Raftar and Qahraman reunite after all these years, only to discover that both are facing personal struggles and are in urgent need of work. Seizing the first job opportunity that comes their way, they decide to become caregivers for an elderly man. Living with and looking after this stubborn, mischievous old man proves to be no easy task. One day, the old man passes away unexpectedly. Naturally, they cannot tell anyone, as they would immediately become the prime suspects. Consequently, our two protagonists decide that the only way out of this predicament is to summon the old man’s spirit. To their surprise, the spirit actually appears. Now, Raftar and Qahraman find themselves left alone—with the old man’s body on one side, and his spirit on the other.
