“AIAZ” International Short Film Festival

The “AIAZ” film festival is the first artificial intelligence-based film festival in the Caucasus and the region. AIAZ is the name of both Artificial Intelligence Azerbaijan (Azerbaijan Artificial Intelligence) and the festival’s artificial intelligence-based jury system. It expresses the symbiosis of human creativity and machine thinking.

The founder of the festival is Murad Shukurlu, director Sahil Mammadov, art director Mirvugar Abdulov, creative director Maleyka Mammadova, media director Samad Aghayev.

I “AIAZ” International Short Film Festival

Date: November 15-16, 2025

Over two days, the festival demonstrated the beginning of the era of artificial intelligence in cinema and the synthesis of art and technology. In addition to film screenings, artificial intelligence expert Umid Salay held a master class, the startup “Jafjab” that brings artificial intelligence solutions to traditional cinema was presented, and an awards ceremony was held.
