Adalat Ziyadkhanov (Adalat Ziyadkhanli) was born in Baku.
The film actor, working under the “Azerbaijanfilm” film studio, worked in a theater studio and on television. He began his professional directorial career on the big stage in 1974 as the director of the play “Insan” (Samad Vurgun) at the Academic National Drama Theater. He directed performances at the Sheki State Theater, the Miniature Theater of the Azerbaijan Concert Union, the Sumgayit State Theater, the Baku Municipal Theater, and the State Musical Comedy Theater. In different years, he worked as the director and chief director of the Aghdam State Drama Theater, the chief director of the Fuzuli State Drama Theater, and the production director of the State Musical Comedy Theater.
He played the role of a policeman in the German-made film “Absurdistan” (2008, directed by Veit Helmer).
He was engaged in pedagogical activities at the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts, teaching in the specialty “Literary Creativity”.
He was awarded the "Golden Dervish" award for his play "Son" (Agshin Babayev).
Adalat Ziyadkhanov died in 2018.
