Adham Gulubayov was born in Baku.
After graduating from secondary school, he began working as a corrosion technician at the AzGaz Trust. After participating in the war, he studied screenwriting at the All-Union State Institute of Cinematography in Moscow (1945-1950). Since 1950, he has worked as an editor at the Baku Film Studio. He is the author of books about cinema.
Adham Gulubayov died in 1994.
