Alexander Khakimov

Alexander Khakimov was born in Baku.

He studied at the Faculty of Biology of Azerbaijan State University (1986).

He worked at the Baku Refrigeration Plant (1980-1981), as a senior laboratory assistant at the Institute of Botany of the Azerbaijan Academy of Sciences (1986-1991), and since 1991 at the Center for Genetic Resources of ANAS. In 2005, he graduated from the international film scriptwriting course. He is known in the CIS as a journalist-publicist and author of fantasy works. In his free time, he plays bass guitar in various rock bands. His books have been translated into Hungarian and Bulgarian.
