Anar Omarov

Anar Omarov was born in Baku.
He studied at Azerbaijan University (1993-1997).
During his student years, he participated in KVN (Club of Cheerful and Quick-witted People) games, becoming the champion of Azerbaijan in the 1995-1996 season. He performed in the international arena as part of the “Ogni Baku” (Flames of Baku) team (1996-2003). He was a host and editor of the “Krasny Most” (Red Bridge) radio in Moscow (1998-1999), a host and chief producer of the Antenne FM radio in Baku (2000-2004), a host on ABA TV, an editor and producer on Space TV, and a screenwriter on Lider TV (2005-2006). He wrote scripts for New Year's shows on ITV. He was the general manager of the “Podium” company, which specializes in event organization (2004-2006). He worked as a scriptwriter and actor for the “KVN Planeta Parni iz Baku” Theater (2006-2016). During this time, he was the author and editor of several television shows. He was the sketch author of the “6 кадров” (“6 кадров”) show on the Russian CTC (STS) channel, the author of the “Уральские пельмени” project. He worked as a copywriter and creator at the “ArtLab” advertising company (2011-2012). He was the scriptwriter and producer of the “Parlaq zekalar” program broadcast on AzTV (2013-2016).
He is one of the founders and creative director of the “Fresh” advertising agency (since 2016). He is the scriptwriter, director and producer of numerous advertisements, social projects and events. He has starred in advertisements. He has been the host of international sports events.
He is the screenwriter of the film “Dragonman” (2021, “Dragonman” / Kyrgyzstan, China, India) by foreign film producers, and the director, screenwriter and producer of the short film “Don’t Rush to Bury Us” (2024, Russia).
He currently lives in Russia.
