Arif Alishanov

Arif Alishanov was born in Baku.
He studied at the Faculty of Accounting and Analysis of Economic Activity of the Azerbaijan State Institute of National Economy (1984), the Institute of Journalism, and the Faculty of Ideological Personnel of the Baku Higher Party School.
In 1977, he started working at the Azerbaijan State Television and Radio Broadcasting Committee. He worked at Azerbaijan Television as a department head, head of department, head of general department, director of the Technical and Production Union (1997-2005), deputy chairman of the Azerbaijan State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company for technology (2001-2005), deputy chairman (2005-2006), chairman (2006-2019).
He was a deputy of the 4th convocation of the Milli Majlis.
He has a PhD in economics.
He was awarded the 3rd degree Order "For Service to the Fatherland".
He is an Honored Worker of Culture.
