Arif Habibi was born in Astara, Iran.
He studied at the Directing Faculty of the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts (1967).
Since 1967, he has been working at the “Azerbaijanfilm” film studio. He mainly worked as a dubbing director. He has dubbed about 1,000 different films. He has been engaged in dubbing for the “Lider”, “ANS”, “ATV” and “Space” television channels for a long time. He has dubbed and translated feature, documentary and animated films produced in foreign countries into his native language.
He taught dubbing at the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts.
Honored Cultural Worker (2007) Arif Habibi passed away in 2021.
