Arzu Gaziyeva

Arzu Gaziyeva (Arzu Gaziyeva-Azimova) was born in Sheki.

She studied at the Piano Department of the Asef Zeynalli Baku Music School (1982-1986) and the Faculty of Journalism of Baku State University (1988-1994).

He worked as an editor at the publishing house of the Azerbaijan State Institute of Oil and Chemistry, a proofreader at the "Inshaatchi" newspaper (1991), a commentator at the "News" editorial office of Azerbaijan Television (1991-2002), a presenter (1991-1994), a parliamentary correspondent (1999-2002), an author of documentaries at Lider TV (2000-2008), a member of the expert group at the National Television and Radio Council (2008-2012), editor-in-chief of the "Long Live" health magazine (2012-2013), editor-in-chief of the morning program at ANS TV (2013-2014), editor of the "Long Live" program at ATV (2014-2016), and author and presenter of the "Be Healthy" program at Space Radio (2016).

He is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Public Union "Assistance to the Development of Journalism", the founder and head of the "AQAP" Producer Center.

He has translated several novels into Azerbaijani.

He has been awarded the Samir Askerkhanov Prize of the Ministry of National Security and the "Humay" Prize.

He currently works as a presenter on South Azerbaijan Television (GunAz TV).
