Asiman Agha Rovshan (Asiman Aghayev) was born in Ganja.

He studied at the Rashid Behbudov Music School No. 2 (1998-2005, piano class), the Republican Art Gymnasium (2004-2009), the Faculty of Acting Art of the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art (2013-2017, Sona Mikayilova's course), and Directing (2018-2022).

He has been engaged in painting since childhood, and his personal exhibition was held at the age of 7. He has received awards at international competitions.

He has directed several performances.

Actor, screenwriter Asiman Agha Rovshan is the son of playwright, screenwriter Rovshan Aghayev and actress Gushvar Sharifova.
