Bahar Hamzayeva (Bahar Abdullayeva) was born in Baku.

She studied at the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts (1979).

She was appointed to the troupe of the Sumgait State Drama Theater. Her first role on the stage of the theater was the role of Bonka in the play “The Tale of the Four Twins” (Pancho Panchev). After working at the Sumgait State Drama Theater for 6 years, she began working at the Azerbaijan State Youth Theater. In 1996, she was invited to the “Ilham” Miniature Theater and worked there in parallel. She has played roles in about 40 performances.

She played the role of Pari in the Iranian film “Dungeon of the Giants” (1993, directed by Hasan Mammadzadeh).

She was awarded the “Jafar Jafar Jafarli Award” for her role as Firangiz in the play “Ogtay Eloglu” (Jafar Jafar Jafarli) (2019). He won 3rd place in the “Sensiz” artistic recitation competition dedicated to the 880th anniversary of Nizami Ganjavi (2021), and 1st place in the “Jannatim Karabakh” artistic recitation competition dedicated to the 190th anniversary of Natavan’s birth (2022). During the brilliant period of his creativity, he took a long break from art due to family concerns.

He currently works at the Shusha State Musical Drama Theater.
