Billura Aslangizi

Billura Aslangizi (Billura Aslanova) was born in Fuzuli.
She studied at the Faculty of Journalism of Baku State University (1996-2000, 2000-2002-master's degree, 2003-2007-postgraduate degree).
She collaborated with the editorial offices of the Azerbaijan State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company "Khazar", "Ganjlik" and "Sahar", prepared thematic plots (1997-2000). She worked in the Azerbaijani bureau of Samanyolu television (2001-2005). She was a reporter on cultural news, host and producer of the information program "From the Caspian to the World", and the author of about 20 television films. She was an information host on the Antenn FM (101 FM) radio (2006), and collaborated with the TRT Baku bureau as a consultant and host (2006-2007). She taught the basics of radio and TV journalism at Baku Slavic University and Baku Eurasian University. She was the editor and host of the program “This is the best” on Khazar TV, the author and host of the program “I am in the mirror”, the editor of the travel program “Real Homeland” broadcast on Real TV (2020-2022), an employee of the Baku International Multiculturalism Center, the host and author of the program “Multiculturalism” broadcast on Azerbaijan TV (2018-2025).
Since 2025, she has been the director of Azerbaijan Radio. She is the author of the book “About a real person…” (2016) and the textbook “Stages of development of television broadcasting in Azerbaijan” (2017).
She teaches at the Faculty of Journalism of Baku State University.
She has a PhD in Philology.
