Chimnaz Aghakishiyeva was born in Baku.
She studied at the faculties of Theater Studies and Organization of Theater and Concert Work at the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art.
She worked as an editor on Azerbaijan Television (1995-2005) and Public Television (2005-2023). She is the author of numerous films and programs from the series “Our Scientists”, “Youth Life”.
Screenwriter Chimnaz Aghakishiyeva is the wife of director Ramin Naziyev.
