Chingiz Alioghlu

Chingiz Alioghlu (Chingiz Aliyev) was born in Fuzuli.

He studied at the Faculty of Automation and Technology of Production Processes of the Azerbaijan Institute of Oil and Chemistry (1961-1965).

He began his career as an editor at the "Ganjlik" publishing house. There he worked as a senior editor (1977–1988), editorial director (1988–1991), editor-in-chief at the Azerbaijan State Publishing House (1991–1992), and head of the publishing department at the Ministry of Press and Information of the Republic of Azerbaijan (1992). He began his artistic creativity with the poem "Memories" published in the collection "Young Pens" (1967). He regularly appeared in the periodical press with poems, stories, literary and artistic translations, and journalistic articles. His works have been translated into many languages. He was one of the first founders of the Civil Solidarity Party and one of the first members of the Supreme Council (Supreme Council) of the VHP.

Honored Cultural Worker (1991), Honored Art Worker (2005) Chingiz Alioghlu died in 2026.

Poet Chingiz Alioghlu is the father of director, producer Orman Aliyev and producer Tahir Aliyev.
