Eyyub Yagubov

Eyyub Yagubov was born in the Bayil settlement of Baku.

He studied at music school No. 3, in the piano class of the Asef Zeynalli Music Technical School (1980).

While still a 7th grade student at the music school, he took first place in a competition among Azerbaijani pianists. He worked as a pianist in the “Humayun” folk instrumental ensemble led by Alibaba Mammadov. He began singing in restaurants. He has gained popularity since 1992.

He is an Honored Artist (2006), People's Artist (2018).
