Faig Sujaddinov

Faig Sujaddinov (Mirfaig Sujaddinov) was born in Ganja.
He studied at the Piano Department of the Asef Zeynalli Music College (1965), the Azerbaijan Institute of Pedagogical Languages, and the Composition Faculty of the Azerbaijan State Conservatory (1977-1981).
In 1969, he began working in the Variety Orchestra of the Azerbaijan State Radio and Television Committee. In the 2000s, he performed in Turkey and Cyprus. Among his works are a concert for piano and symphony orchestra (1990), a string quartet (1991), a concert for piano and chamber orchestra (1992), a scherzo for chamber orchestra (1993), an “Atatürk” chamber piece for choir and symphony orchestra (1994), and jazz compositions for ensembles of various compositions (1996).
He is an Honored Artist (2000), a People's Artist (2006). Awarded the Order of Glory (2007).
