Faramaz Safiyev (Faramaz Idrisoghlu / Faramaz Safiyev) was born in the village of Seyfali, Shamkir region.
He studied at Azerbaijan State University (1952).
In 1952, he began his career as a special correspondent for the newspaper "Azerbaijan Pioneri". For a short time, he worked as a correspondent at the Azerbaijan State Radio Broadcasting Committee, as the head of the chronicle department at the "Azerbaijanfilm" film studio named after Jafar Jabbarli (1953-1994), and then as the director of the creative union. More than 50 documentary films have been made based on his scripts.
Candidate of Philological Sciences (1970) Faramaz Safiyev died in 1996.
