Fateh Fatullayev was born in Lankaran.
His real name was Fatulla. However, at the insistence of the poet Huseyn Javid, he changed his name to Fateh. He played in and directed many theater performances.
He starred in the Armenian film “For Honor” (1956, directed by Artashes Ay-Artyan).
