Gandab Guliyeva was born in the village of Dilagarda, Fuzuli.
She studied at the Baku Music School named after Asaf Zeynalli (1976-1980) and the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts (1991-1996).
Since 1982, she has been a soloist of the Azerbaijan State Opera and Ballet Theater. Her repertoire includes mughams, folk songs, and composer songs. She taught mugham at the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts.
People's Artist (1992) Gandab Guliyeva died in 2017.
