Gunel Mammadova

Gunel Mammadova was born in Baku.

She studied at the Drama and Film Acting Department of the Art Gymnasium under the Azerbaijan National Conservatory and at the Variety Acting Faculty of the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art (2002-2006).

Since 2006, she has been working at the Azerbaijan State Theater for Young Spectators. Her first role in the theater was the role of Nabat in the play “Chimnaz Khanum Yukuday” directed by Rafig Aliyev. She also worked at the “Ibrus” Theater (2008). For the role of Victoria in the play “Victoria”, she was awarded the “Actress of the Year” award by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
