Gurban Salimov was born in Baku.
He studied at the Faculty of Cultural and Educational Work of the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art, specializing in Television Director (1996).
He has collaborated with ABA TV, Lider TV, “Internews Azerbaijan”, “Yaddash” documentary film studio and other companies. He is a producer and director of many television programs.
Currently, he works as a chief producer at Azad Azerbaijan Television.
