Hajar Aghayeva was born in Baku.

She studied at the Choreography Department of the Republican Art Gymnasium (2004), at the acting studio at the Azerbaijan State Russian Drama Theater (2005), and at the Theater Directing Department at the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts (2004-2009).

She performed in performances at the Academic National Drama Theater, the UNS Theater, and the Young Actors Laboratory under the Union of Theater Workers. Since 2004, she has been an actress at the Azerbaijan State Russian Drama Theater.
