Hikmat Alisgandaroghlu

Hikmat Alisgandaroghlu (Hikmat Yagubov) was born in the village of Birinci Yeddioymaq, Masalli district.

He studied at the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts (1989-1994), and at the Faculty of Public Administration of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of Azerbaijan (2005-2008).

Since 1992, he has been working on Azerbaijani television. He worked in the editorial office of military programs and chronicles, in the editorial office of News (1994-1995), as a director of the music-information program "Morning" (1995-2000), chief director (2000-2006), chief director of the Sports editorial office (2006-2009), chief director of the Sports Azerbaijan TV channel (2009-2010, 2011-2013), director of the "Voice" internet television (2010-2011), director of the "Jarchifilm" Creative Union of Public Television (2013-2016), artistic director of Azerbaijan Television (2016-2018), chief producer (2018-2019), deputy director of Culture Television (2019-2022), editor-in-chief of the "Featured and Documentary Films" studio of Azerbaijan Television (2022-2023).

He is an Honored Worker of Culture (2016).
