Husniyya Murvatova (Husniyya Ahmadova / Husniyya Vagifgizi) was born in Siyazan.

She studied at the Azerbaijan State Institute of Culture and Art (1990-1994).

She worked at the Sumgayit State Drama Theater (1989-1994), the Ilham Miniature Theater (1994-1997). Since 1997, she has been an actress at the Baku Municipal Theater.

She starred in the Russian-produced TV series “Arik ajisi” (2023, directed by Alexander Mokhov) as Maleyka and in the TV series “Izgoi” (2024, directed by Sergey Chekalov).

She is also engaged in dubbing and voice-over work.

She starred in the satirical TV magazine “Molla Nasreddin” (2023-2024), produced by Azerbaijani television, as the mullah’s wife (2023-2024).

She is an Honored Artist (2002).
