Ibrahim Aliyev was born in Baku.
He studied at the Acting Faculty of the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts (1971-1976).
Since 1963, he has worked as an amateur actor in the drama club of the Fioletov club. For a while, he worked as an actor at the Sheki State Drama Theater, then at the Azerbaijan State Youth Theater.
For a long time, he taught at the Department of Variety and Musical Theater Director at the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts.
Honored Artist Ibrahim Aliyev died in 2020 and was buried at the Bibiheybat cemetery.
