Islam Hasanov

Islam Hasanov was born in Lankaran.

He studied at the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts (1982-1988).

He was an actor at the "Meydan" Theater (1986-1988), the Young Spectators Theater (1988-1989), a presenter, presenter-editor at the Azerbaijan Television and Radio Broadcasting Company (1991-1993), head of the press service at the Union of Theater Workers of Azerbaijan (1993-2007), advisor to the President of the Union of Theater Workers, director of the Lankaran State Drama Theater (2007-2014), director of the Sumgayit State Musical Drama Theater (2014-2018). Since 2018, he has been the director of the Yugh State Drama Theater. He has directed several performances.
