Khayala Meydanova

Khayala Meydanova (Khayala Gasimova) was born in Baku.

She studied at the Theater Directing Department of the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art (2008-2012).

While in her first year, she won second place in the Jafar Jabbarli recitation competition. She began working as a director at the Sidgi Ruhulla House of Culture in the Buzovna settlement. Her play “The Deceiver” took third place in the competition between houses of culture. She worked at the Baku Children's Theater for 5 years (2011-2016). Since 2017, she has been an actress at the Young Spectators Theater.
