Leyla Guliyeva

Leyla Guliyeva (Leyla Aliyeva) was born in Baku.

She studied at the piano department of Children's Music School No. 6, the theory and vocal departments of the 11-year children's music school named after Sharoyev, and the conducting specialty of the Baku Academy of Music.

During her school years, she won the title of laureate in various competitions. During the visit of Pope John Paul II to Baku, she performed Schubert's "Ave Maria" (2001). For a while, she was also the president of the "EEC" - children's English club organized under the Baku Main Education Department. Since 2005, she has been working on public television. She has been the author, editor and host of several programs. For a while, she hosted the "61!" show and the "Alachi" program on Game TV. She was the host of the Eurovision Song Contest and one of the first commentators in Azerbaijan. For a while, she served as the director of the Department of Musical, Artistic and Entertainment Programs of Public Television (2018-2020). Head of the creative department at Khazar TV (2020).
