Mahammad Verdizadeh (Mammad Verdiyev) was born in Kalbajar. At the age of three, his family moved to Lachin, Yardimli, and later to Shamakhi.
He studied at the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts (1976-1980).
He taught there for a while and worked at the Educational Theater.
After living in the Tver region of Russia for 20 years, he returned to Azerbaijan in 2016.
He starred in the films “Yasmin” (2013, directors Ksenia Zaruskaya, Vyacheslav Kaminsky / Russia), “Möhür” (2016, director Murad Aliyev / USA), which were made by foreign film producers.
