Mahira Yagubova

Mahira Yagubova was born in Baku.

She studied at a preschool pedagogical school and the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts (1974-1979).

She first appeared on stage at the pedagogical school, playing the role of Feyzulla in a play based on the novella “Bomb” (Abdurrahimbey Hagverdiyev).

Since 1979, she has been working as a teacher, senior lecturer, and in recent years as an associate professor at the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts. She is the author of scientific articles, methodological instructions, and subject programs.

She works as an actress at the Baku Municipal Theater.
